An Exposure trip was conducted by ICAR, KVK, Ri-Bhoi today for the trainees of Auxillium Skill Training Centre, Khapmara where 30 farmers from Umkon village visited the IFS Farm of KVK, Ri-Bhoi on 11th Nov,2025 under the theme Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh Pakhwada from 1-15 Nov,2025. Dr. Mokidul Islam, PS & Head and SMS, Agronomy, ICAR-KVK, Ri-Bhoi showed the farmers the various IFS units like poultry, fishery, duckery, goatery, crop enterprises and vermicompost units and briefed them about profitability of such enterprises for food security and environmental sustainability.
